How can I make an appointment?

Do you offer Insurance?
We accept most insurance plans. For a full list of insurance plans, please click here to visit our insurance page. If you do not have dental coverage, please call our office to discuss payment plans and/or financing options.
Do I need to be referred by a doctor?
You can call us any time if you have the need for a tooth or teeth extraction. However, our practice is limited to extractions only, so 90% of our patients are referred to us from the dental community.
How much does a consultation cost?
At Dr. Wisdom Teeth the initial consultation is FREE. Just bring your x-rays from your referring dentist and let's chat. *If you do not have x-rays, there will be a small fee.

If your wisdom teeth are ready to come out, the first step is to schedule a complimentary consultation so our doctor can review your individual case. Once he has a chance to review your x-rays and give you a brief examination, he can determine a treatment path suited to your individual needs and schedule your procedure.
When you come in for treatment, you will have the option of local anesthesia or sedation anesthesia if you'd rather sleep through your procedure... which we recommend in almost all cases. Either way, you will not feel pain during the extraction process, but will feel pressure if you opt for local anesthesia.
After your procedure, you will need someone to drive you home and watch over you for a couple of days. The stitches in your gums with dissolve in 7-10 days on average. During this time, you should avoid a few things like smoking, hot beverages, mouth rinsing with liquid and strenuous physical activity.
Many people have what we call "dental anxiety" and we understand your concerns. Once you meet Dr. Fenn at your initial consult, you will know you are in good hands.

When you come in for treatment, you will have the option of local anesthesia or sedation anesthesia if you'd rather sleep through your procedure... which we recommend in almost all cases. This decision is usually made when scheduling your procedure as the pre-operative instructions differ slightly between the two types of anesthesia.
Either way, you will not feel pain during the extraction process, but will feel pressure and be able to hear the extraction if you opt for local anesthesia.

You need to really take it easy for the first few days. Then for the following week to ten days, you need to avoid some things like smoking, alcohol, hot beverages, rinsing mouth with liquid and strenuous physical activity. After this period of time, you will be completely back to normal.
However, the actual area where the teeth were extracted from may be tender for quite some time. You will notice this when chewing hard things like nuts, chips etc. These areas can be tender for awhile, but eventually you'll forget you even had the procedure!
